PERSONAL AUTOMATION
Routine email tasks,
handled locally.
Automated Email is a Windows utility maintained by Henry Schade for his own Gmail accounts. It checks for selected messages and performs configured tasks on his PC.
What it does
The current task identifies No-IP hostname confirmation emails, follows a validated confirmation link, and checks the result. After a confirmed renewal, it marks the message read and moves it to the configured Gmail label. Failed attempts leave the message in the inbox, marked read when processing has begun.
Each Gmail account is connected separately through Google authorization. The utility supports multiple account profiles and runs on a local schedule.
Gmail access
The utility reads matching messages and changes their read status and labels. It requests Google's gmail.modify permission for these operations. That permission also allows sending, but this utility does not send email. It does not request your Google password.
The Google authorization configuration may appear as Gmail API Authorization. This is the authorization configuration for Automated Email, not a separate public service.
Personal use
This is a private-use desktop utility, not a public email service. This website provides information only; it has no sign-in form and does not receive Gmail messages or account tokens.
